Come and meet the players!

MILLERS fans have the chance to see an open training session, meet the players and enjoy a host of other activities at a special open day next week.

Rotherham United will be throwing open the doors of the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tuesday from 9.30am for the special event.

Paul Warne and his staff will be putting the first-team squad through their paces from 10.30am-midday and the players and staff will then get changed and have lunch before starting autograph signing sessions in the Eric Twigg Foods Pukka Pies West Stand at 1pm.

The club's Community Sports Trust will also be on hand from 9.30am outside the stadium with attractions including an inflatable football pitch, trampolines and kids’ play centre.

The Goal Zone in the Main Stand will also open featuring Xbox consoles, table tennis, reaction walls and indoor games.

Refreshments will be sold from kiosks in the KCM Recycling North Stand while the second floor hospitality area will be set up for supporters to watch events on the pitch from the comfort of the lounges.

“We are delighted to be able to open the doors to the public,” said head of community Jamie Noble.

“Paul Warne is keen to bring the community together and we feel that this is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen that bond between the club and its supporters.”
