FIGHT mentor Dave Coldwell aims to add to a catalogue of titles tonight—and will then switch his attention to helping steer David Haye towards the first defence of his world heavyweight championship.

Rotherham promoter and trainer Coldwell will be in Scot Lee McAllister’s corner as he faces the first defence of his Commonwealth lightweight title against Sam Amoako at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Sports Centre.

Coldwell, who trains the Aberdeen boxer from his Rotherham gym, steered McAllister to the title in October to add to a clutch of championships. He has already trained European champion Ryan Rhodes and propelled Josh Wale to his central area crown while Coldwell will be in Liverpudlian Tony Dodson’s corner for hisBritish super-middleweight shot in March.
