LIVEWIRE scrum half Neil Chivers has fired a warning to arch rivals Doncaster, as the Knights head for Clifton Lane.

Titans have lost their last seven games against the Castle Park club. The only time Rotherham have beaten them in league combat was a 25-19 victory when they sides met for the first time following Doncaster’s promotion.

Now, Chivers and the rest of the Titans are determined to put the record straight tomorrow.

“On our day we can beat the best and against Doncaster we will be the best,” said the half-back, currently enjoying the best form of his career.

But he knows that inconsistent Rotherham have got to do better than last week’s setback at Moseley, when for the second year running they blew a solid lead to lose in the second half.

“We’ve got to pick ourselves up for the Doncaster game,” said Chivers.

“We are strong at home. The pitch suits us at Clifton Lane, we’ll have a good crowd and in a local derby anything’s possible with everyone in the league capable of beating everyone else.”

Kick off on Saturday is 2pm—and not 3pm as advertised elsewhere.
