Be patient with Ryan - Ronnie

RONNIE Moore is asking supporters to show more patience towards out-of-sorts striker Ryan Taylor.

The home-grown player has turned 21 but is struggling to come of age as a footballer and was dropped for the midweek match at Shrewsbury after failing to take advantage of his latest first-team recall.

Like predecessor Mark Robins, Moore sees potential in the young striker and says he's one of the sharpest players on the training ground.

But on matchdays, Taylor continues to fall flat and his confidence has suffered, with a small section of supporters making their views towards him only too clear.

Moore said: "I know it's difficult for supporters because they have been watching Ryan longer than me, but there's a new manager (me) in here now who is trying to get the best out of him.”
