This year the Hawks will be entering teams in the U13s and U15s National League and  younger teams in local central venue leagues. No previous basketball experience is necessary.

The Hawks' U15s National League team, meanwhile, stepped up a level to enter the U16's Hallam Cup, sponsored by Sheffield Hallam University.

Coach Greenhough wanted a tough test before what is expected to be a tough season in the National League and got it.

Hawks played Derbyshire Arrows in the semi-final, losing to the eventual winners 55-50 in a very tight game.
