Austria return for Warne's men

ROTHERHAM United have again included a trip to Austria as part of their build-up to the new season.

Last summer's training camp there was a success, with the players building up their fitness levels and a togetherness that stayed with them throughout the promotion-winning campaign.

They will take to the Austrian hills for a one-week camp, travelling after the opening pre-season friendly against Parkgate on July 7.

The Millers are to play two fixtures on tour. The first has been pencilled in for Tuesday, July 15 at their training complex at Lindabrunn Sportschule. Fans will be able to attend.

The second fixture is on Saturday July 14, with times, venue and opposition to be confirmed. The squad return home the following day.

The base is around 45 minutes' drive from Vienna Airport.

The 2018/19 league fixtures will be released at 9am on Thursday.
