Annerson set for start role

KEEPER Jamie Annerson will get another chance to prove himself in first-team action tonight as Rotherham United head to Burton Albion in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Annerson has waited patiently in the wings since his arrival from Sheffield United, with regular keeper Andy Warrington having been in outstanding form.

Boss Ronnie Moore said: "Jamie hasn't really had the chance to show us what he can do but we'll give him a run out at Burton.

"The lad played well against Lincoln in the first round and deserves his chance. Andy Warrington has been outstanding for us and that means Jamie has been forced to stay on the bench."

Moore will also give Mark Bradley another start after impressing at Bury on Saturday and loanee Dean Holden is also expected to drop in at full back.
