Town aim to continue winning run

ROTHERHAM Town aim to continue their challenge at the top of the Yorkshire League when they take on Castleford at Clifton Lane this weekend.

Town sit fourth in the table after Saturday's two-wicket victory away to Hull, their fifth league success on the trot.

The hosts opened with a modest 161-7 before Ben Sanderson cracked an unbeaten 68 as Rotherham made 163-8 in reply.

Town went down by nine wickets to Sheffield Collegiate in the Twenty20 Cup on Sunday.

Saturday's home date with Castleford is followed by a rearranged League Cup tie at Scarborough on Sunday.
