Titans to link with Tigers

Talks are already under way with the Welford Road club with a view to bringing in players to bolster Andre Bester’s squad for the final clutch of Championship games and then the winner-takes-all play-offs.

Three players have already been identified and Bester believes the new-found relationship will be just the ticket.

“We have reached agreement with Leicester to bring in players who can’t get game time down there and by bringing them to Clifton Lane it will strengthen our squad and give us the chance to rotate and rest our own squad men in preparation for the play-offs,” he said.
