Titans sign trio

TITANS have snapped up three new players and Andre Bester continues to piece together his squad.

The Clifton Laners have brought in props Ross Davies and Gareth Denman and flanker Latu Makaafi—three signings which Bester believed will crank up the power and agression in his reshaped.

Welshman Ross Davies played for Sale Sharks and Ospreys before moving to France last season. He played for the Barbarians in last season’s Mobbs Memorial against Bedford.

Denman (21) is a product of the Leeds Academy even though he was born in Rotherham and played junior rugby with Dinnington.

He played many times in the Premiership with Carnegie and was one of several players released by the club at the end of the season.

Makaafi joins the club from Doncaster, where he earned a reputation as ano-nonsense back rower.
