Titans prepare for Moseley test

LAST year Titans hit the wall at London Welsh and never really recovered. Four games into the season, a 39-10 drubbing at Old Deer Park brought an end to a highly promising start to Andre Bester’s second tenure at Clifton Lane.

On Saturday, in least South West London, the tables were turned as they carved out a stunning 33-25 win which has sent shockwaves throughout the Championship.

But Bester is determined to keep the players’ feet on the ground as they head to prickly Moseley tomorrow.

"We weren’t trying to send a message to the other teams,” he said after the four-try win, which earned a bonus point.

“I was satisfield with the execution of the game plan but we are not going to make and rash statements.

“We are still in the infant stages of our development and there’s a long way for us to go yet.

“We were apprehensive about the game but our whole approach was to get the players relaxed and not get them worked up about anything. just believe in themselves and not freeze, because that’s what we did at Welsh last year.”
