Titans excited by new signings

ROTHERHAM Titans will next week bring up up to THIRTY new playes as Justin Burnell begins his Clifton Lane rebuilding job - and he says fans will be pleasantly surprised at the quality in the camp.

Titans are undergoing the biggest player clearout in their history with all bar six of the current squad leaving, with Burnell preparing to unveil his signings once the contractual details have been finalised.

The Advertiser understands that several players will be brought in from Premiership and Pro 12 clubs, along with some quality young guns.

Said Burnell: "We’ve recruited well with what’s available to us and I’m excited about where are going moving into the summer.

“From day one I straight away had an eye on next season. Obviously we had to secure our place in the Championship first but once that was done then we were able to push on with our recruitment.

“Obviously players are going because to set the environment I want we need fresh blood.

“I’m very happy with the recruitment."
