Titans demand immediate return to win form

TITANS' coach Justin Burnell has called for an immediate response this weekend as the Clifton Lane men head to bottom side Richmond.

Rotherham blew a 13-0 lead to lose 31-31 against London Scottish last week, Burnell saying the defeat was "unacceptable."

Now they head to London where newly promoted Richmond are finding the going tough after sticking to their part-time ethos. It's a game Titans need to win.

"We need a response this week," says Burnell. “The missed tackles killed us against Scottish. It was embarrassing at times.

“You look at the stats and then you have to start looking at individuals. The scary part is that the players are in the right place, it’s not as if Scottish did it from an overlap or a mis-match or they’ve created something, they just ran through us.

“One game, you think fair enough OK. Two games on the bounce and you’ve got to make changes.

"We have to look at going to Richmond and winning well although we would never underestimate any side in this division."
