Titans close in on another new man

TITANS could be poised to make another major signing by the end of this week.

Ahead of today's clash with London Welsh, coach Andre Bester says he is closing in on a deal to bring his biggest coup yet to Clifton Lane.

"We obviously can't reveal any names because we did that recently with Ben Prescott and he ended up signing for Northampton," said Bester.

"The lad we're looking at is an exciting player and, if the deal goes through, then the fans will love him."

Meanwhile, Bester will play his strongest possible team for this afternoon's game against the Exiles.

He sent a shoestring squad to Pontrpridd for Saturday's British and Irish Cup defeat, with the main first-teamers remaining in Rotherham for training. A win today will go a long way towards cementing Titans' place in the promotion play-offs.

Kick off is 2pm and adult prices have been pegged to £10 with concessions at £5.
