Titans bullish ahead of televised derby

MARK Jones says his younger Titans players won't be fazed by Sunday's big trial by TV at promotion-chasing Doncaster.

Rotherham, currently fourth from the foot of the Championship, not only start as rank outsiders against the second placed Knights but will have to do it all in front of the Sky TV cameras.

Jones is confident that his squad can rise to the challenge and knows that a win can transform the Clifton Lane fortunes overnight.

“It’s a chance to put talents on show,” he says. “I want the boys to play in a great fashion so we can show everyone what we can do.

“We are getting a few back from injury and are picking from a healthier squad. Jordan Davies, Toby Williams and Darran Harris came back at Leinster and that gives us more options which is positive.

“It makes a big difference to have influential guys back who can change the dynamic of the team and give us a cutting edge at certain areas. They will put pressure on the guys in the side and it’s great to have more options.”

Kick off on Sunday is 3.15pm.
