Titans braced for Headingley test

ROTHERHAM Titans coach Andre Bester says his side will be ready for the demands of a second successive Yorkshire derby, as they make the trip to Headingley tonight.

And he says: “We’re definitely not going up there to lose this match.”

It’s one of the biggest games of the season for the go-ahead Clifton Lane men but they square up to a side also in top form. Both teams will look to lay down a marker as the countdown to the Championship play-off continues.

Leeds away is a very big test and we’re not naive enough to think that they will have an inexperienced team, because they haven’t, it’s full of Premiership quality players,” said Bester.

“It’s a Yorkshire derby and it’s important to us. We’re determined tio bring the points back here.
