Tennis club gets award
JUBILANT Moorgate Tennis Club have received top recognition for their achievements in increasing membership and upgrading their facilities.
At the Sheffield and District Lawn Tennis Association's recent awards dinner, they were named Club of the Year with LTA officials praising the Rotherham Club for their efforts in ensuring a bright future for tennis in the town.
On court, Moorgate have reached the mid-point of their Winter League season. Playing in the highly competitive Sheffield Saturday Afternoon Division A they are currently fifth in the league with a record of three wins from seven.
