A penalty from Nicky Wroe eight minutes from time secured a 2-1 win for the home side after the Millers had put up a brave fight following the sending-off of Marcus Marshall just before half time.

The dismissal, for two yellow cards, came just four minutes after Lewis Grabban had opened the scoring from a penalty awarded for a trip on Sam Wood.

Former Miller Ian Sharps blasted in from a corner to make it 1-1 two minutes after the break but the home side had to wait until late on, with Millers keeper Conrad Logan making some great saves, to secure their passage to the third round.
