Scott praises comeback

IT'S nine matches without a win now for Rotherham United but manager Andy Scott was enthused by their terrific comeback at Morecambe last night.

Trailing 3-0 after 35 minutes, the Millers hit back through Lewis Grabban, Gareth Evans and new dad Alex Revell to draw 3-3 against the high-flying Shrimps.

Scott said: "The character of the lads was brilliant. It was like deja vu in the first half but we spoke to the lads at half time and in the second half we looked like we were going to win it.

"We were much tighter and didn't let them through us. We were 3-1 down against a team fourth in the league, but we were the better side, and we proved that in the second half."

Rotherham remain 13th in the League Two, five points off the play-off places, ahead of Saturday's trip to lowly Northampton Town.
