Schofield makes strides: Scott

ANDY Scott reckons he could be a little bit nearer to getting the best out of his midfield schemer Danny Schofield.

Now 31, the former Huddersfield, Yeovil and Millwall man brings quality and class to the Millers' engine room.

The problem so far has been getting him on the ball enough to really make a difference.

He'd been tried out wide and in more central areas before Scott pushed him a little further forward to play behind striker Alex Revell against Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

Schofield responded with one of his best matches in Rotherham colours, a fact acknowledged by Scott.

He said: "We need to get Schoey in to better areas high up the pitch where he can affect the game and where he's at his best."
