Scene set for Rotherham Town's Cricket World Cup fun day
An U9s cricket festival featuring clubs from around South Yorkshire will be at the centre of the day which will also see a funfair a host of stalls and a BBQ.
The event starts at 1pm with the cricket beginning at 2pm.
Town assistant club secretary Richard Fidler said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming people to the club to have a few drinks, some food and enjoy the cricket.
“It’s a great summer of international cricket with the World Cup in England and the Ashes so there is a lot of interest in the sport.
“Hopefully the weather is kind to us and we have a great day.”
