RUGBY UNION: Plate final weekend for Wath RUFC

The men’s first team take on Ripon tomorrow in the final of the Papa Johns North Plate at the Northern Echo Arena up in Darlington.

The two teams play in Yorkshire Two and this season Wath won the home game 43-8 and lost the away fixture 27-22.

They finished third, more than 20 points clear of Ripon in fourth.

Wath bumped out Nottingham Moderns and Veseyans to get this far.

Admission and parking tomorrow is free and kick-off is 3pm.

The day also features three other finals at 11am, 1pm and 5pm at the same venue.
