Rugby stalwarts in charity game

A CATALOGUE of rugby stalwarts will play in next week’s big charity game, in aid of Weston Park Hospital.

It takes place on Thursday at Barnsley RUFC (4pm) when a Yorkshire Legends team take on South Yorkshire Select, putting together the former pro players and the beat in current talent.

The Legends side, skippered by former Titan John Dudley, still playing at Sheffield RUFC, features former Clifton Laners Simon Bunting, Sam Coy, Scott Wilson, Ian Gresser, Craig West Stuart Dixon and Phil Greaves. Dinnington’s Gary Woodcock has also been selected and the side also features former Bradford Bull Robbie Paul.
