Rawson to stay with Millers

MILLERS boss Neil Redfearn has been given a boost after striking a deal to keep Farrend Rawson until the end of the season.

The defender has been a key figure for the Millers under Redfearn, scoring twice in 15 Championship appearances.

The 19-year-old is in his second loan spell at AESSEAL New York Stadium, after making four appearances last term and Redfearn has been keen to keep him on board.

He said: “Young Faz has done really well. He has been impressive when he has played; he is a talented young lad with a long career in front of him.

“He has been here for a while now, he was here for a spell last season, so he knows all about us and we know all about him."
