Paul's back in town

Paul Goodison, one of the country’s top hopefuls for Olympic Gold this summer, will be returning to South Yorkshire tomorrow as part of a nationwide promotional tour.

Hoping to motivate and involve people in the local community in sailing and the Olympics, Paul will be visiting his old school at Brinsworth Whitehill and local Volvo dealerships around the country.

During his return to the area, Harratts Volvo dealership in Sheffield will be hosting an exclusive reception at its showroom where invited guests will be able to meet Paul and find out more about his experiences and one of Britain’s top performing sports.It starts at 4pm.

Competing in the Laser sailing class, Paul won Olympic gold in Beijing 2008, became World Champion in 2009, as well as five time European Champion.

He will be representing Great Britain yet again in the 2012 Olympics, and has his sights firmly set on winning gold.
