Dylan and Leo Keightley have been selected to play for their country in a four-day tournament in Spain in March.

Because the trip has to be self-funded, a raffle, a skate-a-thon and dog walking services are being organised to help meet the cost.

Mum Emily said: “We have got some company sponsors, which is a massive help, but are looking at any other local companies wishing to help out the boys get to Spain.”

Dylan (10) and Leo (8) have played for Norton Cyclones in Rotherham since the age of three and also play ice hockey for Sheffield Ice Academy. They both trialled for Great Britain juniors in November for the Sparta tournament, the biggest in Europe.

Added Emily: “This is a fantastic opportunity for them and some of their team-mates selected too.”
