No easy matches, warns Redfearn

ROTHERHAM United manager Neil Redfearn is warning that Huddersfield Town will present a stern test in tonight's Championship basement battle at the John Smith's Stadium.

The Terriers have lost four on the spin at home and stand just three points above the Millers, who are looking to recover from back-to-back defeats.

Town are still trying to adjust to the playing style of new manager David Wagner, the former Borussia Dortmund reserves coach, but Redfearn says his players can't afford to make any assumptions as they chase the victory that could lift them out of the relegation zone.

He said: "I looked at Huddersfield's game against Bristol City on Saturday and even they lost, they had 67 per cent of possession. They've a new manager in who wants them to play out from the back.

"I also went to see Hull City play Bolton on Saturday and there was nothing in it, Bolton gave Hull a game, therefore whoever you come up against it's going to be tough.

"We're getting the level of our performances up and we know we can go and compete with these people now so we've got to go there and try and get the win and keep chipping away and picking up points."

Rotherham will run fitness checks on defender Stephen Kelly and striker Danny Ward while striker Leon Best is back in contention after completing a three-match suspension.

Kick-off is 7.45pm and Millers fans are reminded that the match is all-ticket. They remain on sale until 2pm today.
