Nicky can shine, says Millers man

AS Millers chief Ronnie Moore continues his search for a midfield string puller, Danny Harrison reckons he might have one right under his own nose.

Nicky Law has been switched from wide right to a more central role for the last two matches, albeit with limited success.

The former Sheffield United man was involved in plenty of the play against York City and Huddersfield Town without really hurting the opposition.

Midfield team-mate Harrison insists Law has the skills to unpick opposition defences and do the job that Mark Randall was earmarked to do before injury cruelly and quickly cut short his loan from Arsenal.

Said Harrison: "I think that towards the end of the game on Saturday we saw the Nicky Law everyone wants to see, getting on the ball and running at people. I think he could be the one who can unlock the door for us.

"He has been stuck on the right-hand side a lot but if you give him a free rein to go and look for the ball then he will find good areas.

"The gaffer wants him to go and play on the right but when he is playing just in front of me and Jason Taylor it gives him the whole pitch to go and pick up the ball and cause problems.

"Fans and players all know what he can do."
