New boys in the frame

NEW signings Alex Revell and Brett Williams will be available for selection when table-topping Rotherham United take on Swindon Town tomorrow in front of the Sky TV cameras.

Manager Andy Scott this week responded to the sale of Adam Le Fondre to Reading by bringing in target man Revell from Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee and striker Williams on loan from Reading until the end of January.

And while disappointed to lose the team's top scorer of the last two years, the Millers chief reckons his side can still pack a punch as they seek to protect the only unbeaten record in League Two.

He said: "We've scored 13 goals this season and created more chances and hopefully with Alex's presence and Brett's presence we'll be able to create even more.

"Defensively, we want to work on being strong and keeping clean sheets because that gives you a better chance of winning games.

"You're never going to necessarily replace Alfie like for like. He has scored over 20 goals in each of the last two seasons but if Alex comes in and scores 15 and provides seven eight for someone else then then you are still getting that total."

Centre-half Troy Brown will be missing tomorrow on Wales duty. Start time is 12.15pm.
