Miya's riding high!

LITTLE Miya Marshall really was riding high after lifting a major title at the plum Horse of the Year Show.

And the seven-year-old from Rawmarsh took the Leading Rein Show Pony despite being a massive underdog competing against elite opposition in the top event on the sport’s calendar.

Said proud mum Kelly: “It was an amazing day and we couldn’t believe it when Miya was named the winner.

“It was a tremendous victory because we were up against competitors who can afford to spend a lot more on the sport than we can. It’s very costly and everything we have goes into competing — but it’s so worth it when your little girl wins something like this!!
