Millers wait on Williams

STRIKER Brett Williams' future at Rotherham United will be decided in the next few weeks.

The 24-year-old's loan deal from Reading ends on January 31, before which the Millers hope to know whether they can keep him.

Manager Andy Scott said: "I've spoken to Reading and they are going to monitor his progress to see whether they want to take him back or let him stay, so we should know towards the end of the month."

Williams has scored twice in eight league appearances for the Millers, the latest as a substitute in Monday's 3-0 defeat of Bradford City.

Scott is also working to retain the services of other loanees Jon Harley (from Notts County) and Sam Wood (from Brentford).
