Millers set to report referee

ROTHERHAM United manager Steve Evans plans to speak to the Football Association today about the actions of referee Eddie Ilderton during Saturday's defeat at Burton Albion.

Evans accused the Tyne and Wear official of being "totally obnoxious and rude to me and my staff."

"The words he used staggered every one of us," he said.

Midfielder David Noble was dismissed for two bookings late in the first half and Michael O'Connor was shown a straight red late on as the Millers ended the match with nine men.

Both decisions were hotly disputed by the Rotherham camp who must now regroup for tomorrow's trip to Torquay without their midfield pair. Noble has a one-match suspension while O'Connor misses three.

A goal in each half from Billy Kee earned a 2-0 win for the home side. They climb to third in League Two while the Millers slip to ninth but still have three matches in hand on the Brewers.

Evans added: "I think in the second half with ten men we were the better team but we've got to dust ourselves down and get on the coach for Torquay. We'll freshen up and whatever team we put out will have a go and try to get three points."
