Millers look to stretch winning streak

ROTHERHAM United go to Fleetwood Town tonight knowing that victory could lift them above their Lancashire rivals in League Two.

The Millers have won four on the spin, culminating in Saturday's 3-2 FA Cup victory over League One promotion chasers Stevenage  in which they played some of their best football of the season.

Pipped as one of the promotion favourites, the Cod Army will be tough opponents and have landed former Scotland international Barry Ferguson on loan from neighbours Blackpool.

But as one of the form teams in the division, Steve Evans' side will travel with confidence and loan signing Josh Morris says it is important they maintain their high standards.

"It was a cracking cup tie on Saturday," said the young defender. "We went 3-0 up and then they scored a screamer and it was backs to the wall after that. We scored three times and could have had more on another day and now we've got to keep it going against Fleetwood, that's the aim."

Rotherham, who sit sixth in the table, hope to have striker Daniel Nardiello back fit.
