Millers facing reshuffle

INJURY-HIT Rotherham United look set to make at least three changes for tonight's Championship clash with Reading at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Defender Joe Mattock and forward Danny Ward are the main doubts from Saturdays' defeat at Brentford and Matt Derbyshire and Emmanuel Ledesma also picked up knocks.

The match could come too soon for skipper Lee Frecklington, who is still working his way back from an aggravated calf injury, while checks will also be run on Joe Newell, an injury casualty from the Burnley game earlier this month. Midfielder Richie Smallwood misses out through suspension having accumulated five bookings.

Reading arrive in second spot and in a rich run of form, winning five of their last six, while Neil Redfearn will want to mark his first home match in charge with a victory as Rotherham look to climb out of the bottom three.

The experienced Paul Green sees encouraging signs from the new man's first week iwhich ended with the tight defeat at Brentford.

He told the Advertiser: "We need to start picking points up and the way he is wanting us to play, you can see the lads are buying into it. If we play like we did against Brentford then we will win more games than we lose."

Kick-off tonight is 7.45pm.
