Make-or-break for Harriers

ROTHERHAM Harriers face a do-or-die effort to avoid relegation from the second division of the North of England League.

The club’s senior team is involved in a close struggle with three other teams to avoid the drop to division three.

The latest episode was fought out at Barnsley's Dorothy Hyman track and resulted in an extremely close fourth place for the Harriers, beating Wakefield by two points but losing out to Scunthorpe by nine points for a third place which would have made their fight a lot easier.

Derby put out a strong squad and moved out of the relegation zone with second place. The last match at Derby on August 14 will be a make-or-break effort with the Harriers team needing at least a second place finish to secure their place in Division Two next year.
