Leanne's off to the World Cup

GOALKEEPING coach Leanne Hall has gloved a big ticket to the World Cup.

Top stopper Leanne will join the England squad at the Women's U17s showpiece in Jordan in September after forming an important part of the support team which helped them to a bronze meal in the UEFA European Championships in Belarus.

England beat Norway, Serbia and the host country to top their group and even though they lost to Germany 4-3 in the semi final, they saw off Norway in a third-place play-off to take one of the three qualification spots. They'll join the likes of Spain, Germany, USA and Brazil at the big event, adding another exciting chapter to Leanne's career.
