Kristie tops rankings
WICKERSLEY’S Kristie Edwards shot to the top of the UK U20 rankings in the 200m after impressing on her senior international debut in Austria.
The rising City of Sheffield star put on a fine performance in Vienna, winning her 200m race in 24.24 seconds and ending up third overall out of around 50 entrants.
It puts Kristie top of the British rankings, making the 18 year old the only athlete below the target line set by UKA of 24.30.
Kristie finished behind Croatian Lucija Pokos (24.15) and Czech Jana Slaninova ((24.16).
