It's a start, says Scott

ROTHERHAM United go to Morecambe tomorrow night in slightly better spirits after checking their losing run against Shrewsbury Town at the weekend.

Lewis Grabban's seventh goal of the season earned a 1-1 draw, securing the Millers their first point in five league games. Substitute Shane Cansdell-Sherriff equalised just before half time for the below-par Shrews.

Manager Andy Scott said: "When you've lost a few games on the trot there's bound to be a few nerves and some anxiety. But the lads had a lot of spirit and worked hard for each other.

"We played very well first half but couldn't hold out. There were a few good things that we stopped doing in the second half but Shrewsbury are a good side and you can see why they're up there.

"I think a draw was a fair result to be honest. It's a point, and a start, and we'll go to Morecambe now and look to build on it."

Striker Alex Revell, who missed the game when his wife went into labour, will be back available for tomorrow's clash against another of the front runners.

Morecambe are up to fourth in League Two after their 4-0 romp at Port Vale on Saturday.
