Inspired Millers slay Gills

ROTHERHAM United shook off the loss of Adam Le Fondre to notch a great win against Gillingham at Don Valley Stadium this afternoon and maintain their unbeaten start in League Two.

Second-half goals from Danny Harrison, Lewis Grabban and Gareth Evans sealed a 3-0 victory on the day the Millers’ prized asset joined Championship outfit Reading.

After a dull first half, the deadlock was broken eight minutes after half time when Danny Schofield turned his marker inside out and lifted in a cross to the far post and Harrison leapt well to head home.
