I didn't enjoy it, says Millers chief

THE Millers' defeat at Swindon Town on Saturday has left a bitter taste with manager Andy Scott.

ROTHERHAM United's defeat at Swindon Town on Saturday has left a bitter taste with manager Andy Scott.

Danny Schofield and Town's Alberto Commazi were both sent off in the second half in a firey live TV encounter notable for the antics of colourful Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio and his players.

Millers defender Dale Tonge was involved in an altercation on the touchline and tempers boiled over as the home team twice came from behind to win 3-2, cancelling out a double from striker Alex Revell on his debut.

Scott said: "I didn't enjoy it at all. From start to finish we didn't play very well.  There was a lot of histrionics and you had people rolling around and their bench was like a pantomime but I knew that was what we were going to walk into.

"We probably deserved a draw out of it. We had a certain penalty at 2-1 up and if we'd have scored that then it would probably have been game over. But Danny Schofield dived in and got himself sent off and then we didn't mark at the set piece for the second goal and from there we were on the back foot."

Goalkeeper Conrad Logan suffered a broken nose and dental damage in an early clash and will require medical attention ahead of Saturday's home date against Dagenham and Redbridge.
