Harriers poised for promotion

In a busy week for Harriers of all ages, the undoubted stars of the show were the youngsters, who recorded a third win in succession and virtually guaranteed a return to the Northern Premier League by beating closest rivals Lincoln Wellington.

The match score saw Rotherham Harriers bank 531 pts, ahead of Lincoln (499) and Oldham and Royston (340).

That puts Harriers 88 points ahead of their nearest rivals at the top of North Division One with only one match to go.

Once again it was a splendid team performance that won the day, with points scored consistently by all the competitors.
