ROTHERHAM United Ladies have been promoted to the Women’s Premier League Northern Division after Sunday’s play-off win against Newcastle United.
Paul Durrands side needed the last-day shootout at Farsley after losing out on automatic promotion following a late wobble in the Midlands Combination.
The 2-0 win came against a Magpies’ side who finished in the bottom two in the North Premier and the north east girls will now be relegated.
