The Tigers needed a stoppage-time goal to go through and their manager said: "I knew it would be a tough game. I have a lot of admiration for what Paul Warne is doing here."

Rotherham were a 1-0 down but superb goals from Michael Smith and Kyle Vassell saw them take the lead before Hull hit back.
The contest was marred by an inept display from the officials, with Warne claiming two of the Tigers' goals shouldn't have been allowed to stand.
“We might have been on the wrong end of a few decisions.," he reflected. "Unfortunately it wasn't our day, but I am not knocking anything the lads did."
