No news yet on League Cup draw

MILLERS fans are waiting with baited breath to hear who the club will face in the first round of the League Cup - but no date for the draw has yet been announced.

Traditionally, the first round of the League Cup has been drawn the day before the league fixtures are released.

With the full fixture list set to be announced at 9am tomorrow (Wednesday), there is still no sign of when the Cup's first round ties will be drawn.

It is understood that the re-branding of the Football League to the English Football League and the ongoing search for a sponsor are the main sources of the hold-up.

Boss Alan Stubbs will also be keen to see who his side will face in his first game in charge of an English cup match.
