Matt Taylor poised for Rotherham United hot-seat

The Championship Millers released a statement on Saturday night confirming they were in talks with the Exeter City chief about him becoming the successor to the departed Paul Warne.

Taylor himself said he would making a decision within 24 hours.

Nothing is yet official but the Advertiser understands that the 40-year-old has decided his future lies at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

An announcement will be made if the final details of his move are agreed to both parties' satisfaction.

Taylor led Exeter to promotion from League Two last season.
