King Kirk could make comeback against Bees

INFLUENTIAL defender Kirk Broadfoot has been given a “50-50” chance of playing in Saturday’s Championship home clash with Brentford.

The Millers go into the tie having used a different centre back partnership in all four games so far, shipping 13 goals in the process.

Stubbs is keen to create a settled defensive unit and is hopeful that a niggling nerve in Broadfoot's back will have settled in time for the former Rangers man to play some part against the Bees.

Captain Lee Frecklington is due to start training again early next week after a calf problem, so misses this weekend's tie, while Joe Newell continues his comeback from an ankle injury.

Greg Halford also misses out with a groin tear.
