DEADLINE DAY: Fry signs from Boro

ROTHERHAM United have completed the loan signing of Middlesbrough youngster Dael Fry.

The first incoming of transfer deadline day sees the 19-year-old centre back join the Millers until the end of the season.

Fry has represented England up to U20 level and has made seven appearances for the Premier League club.

League One Bolton Wanderers were thought to be interested in signing the defender who played for Boro when they lost 1-0 at the AESSEAL New York Stadium in March.

The signing follows the news that Richie Smallwood left the Millers earlier in the day to join Scunthorpe on a year long loan.
