Derby draw for Millers

ROTHERHAM United are still searching for their first away win following a goalless draw at York City this afternoon.

After a quiet first half of precious little goalmouth action, the match livened up after the break and the Millers had the best of it without being able to force a breakthrough to please their 1,600 travelling supporters.

Gareth Evans’ stinging drive cannoned off goalkeeper Michael Ingham’s legs and Lionel Ainsworth should have taken advantage of the best opening of the match but stabbed wide when clean through.

Kari Arnason also went close but the home side remained lively on the break and Ashley Chambers lashed a decent chance into the side netting in the tense closing stages.

It was the third successive away draw for Steve Evans' side
