DERBY DAY: Warnock ready to front up

NEIL Warnock says he's thick-skinned enough to take the flak at Hillsborough tomorrow, saying: "It's all part of the fun."

Warnock's affiliations with Sheffield United will ensure a tasty reception when he returns there with the Millers.

After 35 years in the managerial game and one of its most colourful figures, he's used to similar things at grounds up and down the country.

Boosted by his first win in charge against Brentford last Saturday, Warnock intends keeping it as a side issue to the main objective, to collect points to keep Rotherham in the Championship.

"I always like going to Hillsborough," he told the Advertiser. "There are so many text book managers around now, there's no rapport with the supporters, but they're a loud and vociferous crowd there and I know I'll get quite a bit of flak. To be honest, I get that at a lot of places to be honest but you expect it, it's all part of the fun, as long as it doesn't get out of hand."
