Codling to carry on building

TITANS chief Alex Codling says his building plans for next season can now continue apace after the Clifton Lane side effectively ensured their place in the RFU Championship.

Saturday’s tight 34-31 win over Plymouth puts them 19 points – at least four wins – clear of bottom side Doncaster with seven games to play.

And that means that Codling can now push the green light for developing his squad, which continued yesterday when utility back Joel Gill became the latest to put pen to paper.

Said the coach: “We’re pleased to have signed joel and he will join the others who have already committed to us for next year, which is good news.
